Client: Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
Our general engineering consultant joint venture manages the complex Transform 66 Program—reducing congestion + increasing highway/rail/transit/ridesharing options.
This project had two key phases: $80M, 4-mile widening Inside The Beltway Design-Build + a $3B, 22-mile Outside The Beltway Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) corridor improvement.
Providing managerial, technical, + administrative support to augment VDOT’s program staff, services for both phases included:
- concept development
- public outreach
- risk management
- bridging documents
- Request For Proposal
- project controls
- Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
- design technical reviews
- construction management + inspection.
By offering diverse resources to VDOT’s Program Director + Project Managers to access, we augmented their workforce to support operational needs from concept development through procurement.
