The Transform66 project scope includes three distinct project components. The first component was an $80M, 4-mile design-bid-build project to install tolling infrastructure on I-66 east of the I-495 capital beltway. The second was a 4-mile widening of I-66 Inside The Beltway (ITB). The third is the $3B corridor improvement of I-66 Outside The Beltway (OTB) to widen and build 22 miles of express lanes, 77 bridges, 197 retaining walls, 22 sound walls, 60 miles of drainage infrastructure, 200 miles of paving and paving reconstruction, and 23 miles of ITS duct banks. The anticipated completion date for the third component is November 2022.

ATCS Project Controls was involved from the inception to implementation of the project. ATCS provided procurement support, contract development support, schedule management, document control, risk management, change management, and claims avoidance support.
