Client: MDOT Maryland Transit Administration (MTA)

ATCS provided the Resident Engineer responsible for oversight of highly complex demolition and replacement of architectural ceiling panels, electrical conduits, junction boxes, HVAC ductwork, fire safety systems and metal drip shield in the immediate area where the FRP system was installed.

The project included removal and reinstallation of precast concrete ceiling panels above the station’s electrical room, and installation of a fiber-reinforced polymer composite system designed to reinforce structural elements of the station which interface with above-ground features. All work for this $2.1 million project performed in downtown Baltimore City while maintaining the station’s operations. The ATCS Resident Engineer received a certificate of appreciation from the client for a project well done.
