JOHN A. DEPASQUALE, PE
Senior Vice President, Transportation Practice Lead
Mr. DePasquale is Senior Vice President, Transportation Practice Lead at ATCS. In this position, Mr. DePasquale is responsible for guiding and growing ATCS’ transportation disciplines, including design, transportation planning and traffic engineering, environmental studies, surveying, program management, and project controls.
Having spent the last 16 years with ATCS, Mr. DePasquale has held several leadership positions with the firm. He has managed many high-impact projects for Prince William County, Loudoun County, and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) – encompassing sidewalk extensions, bike trail and shared use paths, roadway widenings, roadway extensions, D/B interchange plans, and drainage improvements.
Before joining ATCS in 2006, Mr. DePasquale worked in the private sector as a site/civil design engineer and public sector with the VDOT, where he managed their Location & Design operation in the Culpeper District for five years and their multibillion-dollar Construction Program for the Northern Virginia District for ten years.
Mr. DePasquale is a professional engineer in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, and the Virgin Islands. He holds a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Mr. DePasquale has an affinity for classic corvettes – models from 1962 and earlier.
