Water Resources
The Water Resources division at ATCS has many years of experience in water resources studies including watershed modeling, and river analysis, as well as stormwater and floodplain management. Our engineering Team has extensive experience with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) in performing comprehensive flood analysis for multiple flood profiles and development of Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs).
We have performed over 800-miles of H&H analysis of Limited Detailed, over 100-miles of Detailed, and over 800-miles of Re-delineation studies of floodplain analysis for the State of North Carolina. We utilize the latest version of ESRI-GIS application and aerial photos, as well as the most up-to-date river analysis system for performing flood analysis. We continue to update our knowledge of new technology, by utilizing new software for H&H studies and other water resources modeling techniques including the use of GIS technology.
Our Engineers have provided technical and scientific assistance to a number of government and local agencies in various jurisdictions. Our Team can provide a complete offering of services, including:
- Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H)
- Water Distribution Modeling and Management
- Water Quality
