First Multimodal Ground Breaking Ceremony for Transform 66 Project in Loudoun County

Ground Breaking ceremony on October 25th, 2016 including Loudoun County Supervisors, VDOT representatives, members of the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission and Tamara Thomas, ATCS’ Senior Construction Inspector.

Loudoun County Supervisors, VDOT representatives and members of the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission broke ground on the $6,120,400 Stone Ridge Park-and-ride lot in Aldie on October 25th. The commuter lot will be partially paid for with Interstate 66 toll revenue.

The Stone Ridge Park-and-Ride lot will allow commuters to benefit from the express bus service to McPherson Square Metro Station in Downtown D.C. With an expected start in July 2017, bus service will start in tangent with the I-66 inside the beltway toll commencement.

ATCS will provide Construction Management and Inspection services, led by Tamara Thomas, Senior Construction Inspector and Dan Owens, Construction Manager.
