Please join us in congratulating Urvashi Shah, Senior Scheduler, on her award for Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) Route 3 Widening Design-Build Project in Culpeper, Virginia.

As a Senior Scheduler on this project, Ms. Shah has been responsible for reviewing and analyzing the contractor’s preliminary schedule and baseline schedule for validity with respect to sequence of construction and feasibility, as well as suggesting changes to reduce overall project duration and attending bi-weekly schedule meetings with the Department and the contractor. Ms. Shah has also been responsible for reviewing and evaluating the contractor’s monthly Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule updates; developing and maintaining detailed and summary construction schedules; developing monthly critical path status reports and schedule performance graphs; performing cost and/or schedule Time Impact Analysis (TIA); responding to contractor claims; and leading monthly schedule coordination meetings.

“We’re very proud of Urvashi for her dedication to excellence and the focus on quality she brings to our clients. Well done!” said Gregg Newhouse, PE, ATCS’ Operations Manager, Construction Services Division.

This award was presented to Ms. Shah on Monday, November 27th, 2017 at the Culpeper District Office, by Greg Cooley, PE, Design-Build Area Construction Engineer, and John Glass, Construction Manager for the project.
